if weather permits, i'd probably be doing a little bit of gardening - some weeding and trimming will do just fine. i look forward to do some "nordic walks" ... i need the exercise. also, there's quite a lot of things i need to prepare for next weekend's trip to stockholm. we're going on a road trip - hurray! it's been some years since the last time - that was in year 2002 when i met with my cousin and her family in Paris Disneyland. we had a 4 week-holiday then and decided that instead of flying, we opted for the "road trip" from gothenburg - weaved our way through denmark, germany, the netherlands and then france and managed to stop at different cities and visited friends and relatives along the way. my cousin and her family was then vacationing in perpignan at the south of france - they flew in from hong kong with kids and yaya in tow! now that's what i'd call luxurious by european standards!
anyway, our planned road trip is only for 4 days - our itinerary is still vague ... but one thing definite is one full day at the Power Big Meet in Västerås - vintage car day! also, visiting stockholm is always one nostalgia trip for my hubby who was born and raised in stockholm before settling in gothenburg when his dad got transferred to SVT Gothenburg (a prestigious national TV station). i look forward to visiting the big city again ... not that i miss anything from stockholm - it's more like a "hideaway" for me ... a breather, a change of environment and something different from my daily routine.
oh well, let's see what stockholm has to offer this year ... and i promise to squeal more on this trip later on.
