it's midsummer night
neigh any sun at sight
no glowing rays about
except those grey skies above.
yes, it still is light
midsummer night is damp
at twelve midnight tonight
colours are absent to lit the skies.
what now, what's next
will mother nature be kind?
i wish i'd see some light
bright in the morning in such delight.
