yup, a day all by my own! and what did i do? well, i slept well and good and woke up at 10 am today! i feel so relaxed ... and lazy, too. i had my brunch - toast and scrambled egg, a kiwi fruit and a cup of blueberry tea ... how luxurious!
the house felt so empty with the absence of my two boys. so, i decided to go out and explore the city - right again, i went on a shopping spree! i can tell you this much, i didn't go out of each shop empty handed - go figure! now, i got myself more clothes and stuff to chunk up my wardrobe! sorry, i just couldn't help it ... *sigh*
coming home, i just went around the house tidying up some more. also, i have a dinner invitation at 8 pm and this is another dilemma for me - deciding what to wear, how hard would that be? believe it or not, it's quite difficult to choose something appropriate. what if i "overdress"? that would be embarassing. and if i "dressdown", i'd feel too awkward all throughout dinner. the right thing to do is dress right ... how does one do that is a maze for me. you see, here in sweden, when you are invited to a dinner party and you are told to get casual, not everybody does just as that. guys would show up handsomely impeccable in jeans or slacks, white collared shirt and a blazer. women would come in summer dresses or tops and skirts, wearing light heeled shoes and a knitted sweaters. on some occasions, when you say casual, they'd show up in summer shorts, espadrilles and shirt tops. to be able to dress right, you have to get the feel of those invited, where is the venue and the purpose of the invitation. one has to take into consideration a lot of factors to really know how one is to dress up.
well, i have a good two hours left before my friends pick me up ... gotta get ready. i'll gossip later about the outcome of the "dress"-dilemma.
