Crazy stupid war!

'Am getting sick of this Israel-Palestine war conflict. All sympathies are trained and focused on the people of Gaza and facts are somewhat distorted in all forms of media as to what is the real score. Has anyone bother or cared to check and get the facts behind all these hostilities between Israel and Palestine?

Is it not a fact that Hamas were the ones who has taken Gaza hostage? Was it not Hamas who use the people of Gaza as their human shield? That Hamas uses Gaza's proximity to Israel as their start point in launching their rockets aimed at the people of Israel? Come to think of it, Palestine's very own Abbas do not even have any say on how this Gaza conflict is to be resolved. Why? Because there are actually two governments governing Palestine. The people of Gaza elected the Hamas organisation to govern their small region while outside the perimeters of Gaza is a totally different politics.


Hamas is definitely upset at the Israeli government, but they are not willing to settle their issues with Israel with peaceful means. Who did really fire the first salvo of deadly arms to hurt civilians? Is it not the right of any sovereign state to defend itself and its people when they are attacked by Hamas' suicide bombers and rockets specifically aimed at its people?

Some quarters count the casualties downed by Israeli missiles, but is there anyone counting the number of casualties as downed by the Hamas group? It is common knowledge among 'military superpowers' how capable Israel are when it comes to precision warfare. It is a fact that the Israelis are reluctant to use this as they are somewhat concern of eventual civilian casualties. Israel opted to a different strategy such as first identifying its targets before its attack. As the Hamas bombards Israel with one rocket after another, Israel is said to prepare for a ground operation inside Gaza.

As all these developments unfold, I can't help thinking of the Culture Club's War-song back in the 1980's:
