I was invited to a girls' afterwork at a friend's house yesterday ... to shop, wine and dine! It's one of those get-together where the gals gossip and talk about the weather, work, shoes, bags, clothes and bling-blings over a glass of wine (or more) and a lovely buffet of fruits, appetizers, sea of green salad, seafood and choice meats. I mentioned "to shop" 'coz she invited friends of hers who own specialty shops selling high end clothes, bags and shoes - even some artists friends who designs a variety of blings as earrings, necklace, rings, bangles and all. Get-together as this is rare and really interesting. Also, everyone gets 40% off the rack price!
If at all, I enjoy the bonding time: meeting old friends and new faces, share each other personal experiences and renewing old acquaintances. I look forward to the next girls' afterwork meet ... it's a different experience altogether.
